autodns-dhcp software package provides Automatic DNS updates for DHCP, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install autodns-dhcp
autodns-dhcp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the autodns-dhcp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep autodns-dhcp *
You will get with autodns-dhcp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
